The score of the match was opened by Lesotho, with a goal, in the 26th minute, by Lehlohonolo. However, before the break, Angola managed to reduce the deficit and equalize with a goal from Depú in the 40th minute.

Until half-time the score remained the same, with the game going into half-time tied at 1-1.

In the second half, Angola managed to take the lead. It was in the 63rd minute that Vidinho made it 2-1 in favor of Angola.

Angola's third and final goal of the game came in added time. It was through Miro's feet, at 90+5, that the ball entered the beacon.

The game had an even hotter moment, with the expulsion of Sekhoane Moerane, goalkeeper for the Lesotho national team. According to Angop, the basis of the expulsion, which happened at 90+2, was a violent game.

In the group stage, the national team drew the first game with Namibia and won the second game with the Seychelles Islands. Added to these results is Wednesday's victory, with the team finishing the group stage in first place in group C, with seven points.

In second place was Namibia (seven points), followed by the Seychelles Islands (one point) and Lesotho (one point).

Angola returns to the scene this Friday, where it will face the Comoros, in a game counting for the 'semi-finals' of the Cosafa Cup, which is taking place in South Africa.
