The audience, according to a note from CIPRA, to which VerAngola had access, was with the heads of delegation from the SADC Parliamentary Forum, who are in the country because of the 55th Plenary Assembly of the SADC Parliamentary Forum.
The group of parliamentarians was accompanied by the president of the National Assembly, Carolina Cerqueira, in the meeting with João Lourenço.
"The topic on the table of the SADC Parliamentary Forum is its transformation into a Regional Parliament, depending, for now, on a single movement: the formal accession of the Democratic Republic of Congo to the treaty for this purpose", says the CIPRA statement.
Also this Thursday, the President of the Republic made changes to Angop's board of directors, having reappointed its president, Josué Salusuva Isaías.
