The factory, which has been restructured, will initially be dedicated to the production of military shoes and boots, and is expected to produce more than 1000 pairs per day, compared to the 200 produced before it closed its doors, informed Luís dos Passos, ISSFAA delegate, speaking to Angop.
According to the person responsible, the factory's recovery included the installation of two new production halls, a warehouse and other facilities, in an investment of 100 million kwanzas.
Regarding employees, Luís dos Passos informed that, in addition to the 49 former employees, they will recruit new workers in professional training centers at local level to ensure the good performance of the manufacturing unit.
Furthermore, this year the opening of a new production line for uniforms for the national army and private security companies is also planned, as part of a collaboration with a company in Serbia, writes Angop.
