Prodígio launches new theme with collaboration of Brazilian Donatto

Musician Prodígio, one of the best-known names in Angolan and Portuguese rap and hip-hop, joined the pop sensation of the moment in Brazil, Donatto, to launch the theme '41'. The song, which serves as an encouragement for those looking for someone to complete them, is released this Friday.

:

"41 is the number I wear and is obviously the perfect fit for me. Transposing this idea into poetry, I think that those who still haven't found the lid for their pan and are looking for the half of their orange, may have this encounter when least wait. The theme '41' is about that, finding someone who completes us", says Prodígio, in a statement sent to VerAngola.

The theme dates back to 2020, during the period of the covid-19 pandemic, when Benji Price, currently one of the best known music producers in Portugal, created and presented the instrumental to Prodígio.

"I've had this theme in my head ever since. I immediately felt that it was special and, without even realizing it, I already had the chorus in my head", explains the Angolan artist, stressing that the collaboration coming from Brazil is also "very special".

"Donatto is the icing on top of this cake. He is one of the most talented people I've met in recent times, with a passion and hunger to produce, innovate and raise the bar for music made in Portuguese. The public will love this collaboration", assure.

The theme '41' was recorded in May 2023, between Klasszik studio and Valdo's studio. The production, mix and master were in charge of Benji Price.
"I believe that the greatest loves are those of Summer! That's why we decided to release '41' now", concludes Prodígio.
