The Luanda Railway (CFL) will be the biggest beneficiary as it will receive four trains while the Benguela Railway (CFB) and the Moçâmedes Railway (CFM) will receive three locomotives each, writes the Jornal de Angola.
Melqueades Quingalo, director for the technical area of the CFL – who provided this information last Friday, as part of a visit by Elsa Barber, Secretary of State for the Family and Promotion of Women, to that company – also informed that the new compositions of the CFL will circulate on the Bungo/Baia route.
Cited by Jornal de Angola, Melqueades Quingalo also considered that these new means will provide more comfort and security.
With 84 meters in length, the new trains will be able to transport more than 700 people daily.
