According to REA forecasts, the biggest drop will be registered in wheat flour: a 25-kilogram package should drop from 23,033 kwanzas to 8250 kwanzas (-64.2 percent). The same amount of cornmeal should be sold at 6000 kwanzas against the previous 13,800 kwanzas (-56.5 percent).
In turn, sugar (50-kilogram packages) should fall from 24,200 kwanzas to 18,700 kwanzas (-22.7 percent).
Forecasts also point to a reduction in thai rice (25-kilogram bag), which will drop from 11,737 kwanzas to 6900 kwanzas (-41.2 percent) while the same amount of myanmar rice will fall from 10,000 kwanzas to 7100 kwanzas (- 29 percent).
Already 12 liters of soybean oil should drop from 17,450 kwanzas to 10,900 kwanzas (-37.5 percent), 25 kilograms of pinto beans will suffer a reduction of 24 thousand kwanzas to 17,500 (-27.1 percent) and 10 kilograms of chicken thigh will go from 10,190 kwanzas to 7650 kwanzas (-24.9 percent).
These figures, according to the REA, are valid for the entire country and reflect a general decline of 38.2 percent compared to November last year.
