In a statement, to which VerAngola had access, the GPL says that, "due to the acts of protest, which took place on the 20th and 21st of July, resulting from the postponement of the admission tests to the public entrance examination, a situation that caused disruptions to the order and public tranquility", regrets what happened to the candidates, taking the opportunity to apologize for the inconvenience caused.
He also explains that the postponement of the tests "was based on institutional dislocations, which, if not taken care of, would compromise the transparency and credibility expected of a public tender under the terms of current legislation".
Thus, in order to "resolve any constraints", the GPL informs that a new calendar has been drawn up for the 27th, 28th and 29th of July, for the 3rd Class Middle Technicians Career, 3rd Class Technicians Career and Career of Senior Technicians, respectively, adding that they are "ensuring all the technical conditions so that they occur smoothly".
The GPL also appealed for the "maximum understanding of all", urging the candidates to calm and serenity for the "successful" accomplishment of the test, reiterating an apology for the inconvenience caused.
