Gilmário Vemba continues success across borders and will it's program on portuguese TV

The popularity of comedian Gilmário Vemba continues to grow in the Portuguese-speaking world, so much so that the channel Mundo Fox Comedy, in Portugal, decided to show the program ‘Bar do Gilmário’.

With its premiere scheduled for the 1st of August, every night from Monday to Friday, the format is a production by SPi, the international arm of SP Television, for the Walt Disney Company.

The 'Bar do Gilmário' is a television format that combines stand-up comedy with fiction, and the action takes place in a bar in Luanda "in which Gilmário, the owner, performs every night giving a lecture, always with his characteristic humor , on the most diverse subjects, under the more or less attentive look of its employees".

In addition to Gilmário Vemba, the program counts with the participation of actors Érica Chissapa, Ciomara Morais, Anilson Eugénio and Sabri Lucas, as collaborators of the bar who star in the sketches that alternate in the format with the stand-up of Gilmário Vemba.

The airing of this program marks the arrival at Mundo Fox in Portugal of the Angolan comedian who in the Portuguese-speaking world has developed excellent work for the aggrandizement of humour, says a statement sent to VerAngola.
