The new Fresmart Express store is located on Avenida Paiva Domingos da Silva – Rio Longa – and will meet the demands of the more than 230,000 inhabitants of this community.
In a statement sent to VerAngola, the group said that the new store had a parking lot with 54 spaces and a store area of 1080 square meters. The investment was 1 million dollars and 50 new jobs were created. As a rule, the supermarket will be open between 08:00 and 20:00.
The structure of the store is identical to the other spaces that the brand has opened in the country since 2017, with a dairy area, groceries such as oil, rice and dry products and an extensive area of frozen meat and vegetables.

Fresh products, such as the fruits and vegetables we sell in our stores, come from national farms, as well as farms belonging to the Newaco Group, such as Agroko. Thus, we guarantee the best quality to our customers, a smaller ecological footprint because we buy locally, and an alert to the social and economic importance of buying what is made in the country", explains Heldér Inácio, Director of Operations at Fresmart.
"Also at the level of innovation, the investment made in private label products – Sanodia, Oceano, Família Feliz, Feliz Dia and Kubico brands – allows Fresmart to process high quality products. All private label food products are vacuum sealed, which keeps the product hermetically protected during storage", adds the person in charge.
Fresmart and Fresmart Express reinforced their expansion plan in Luanda and the brand's goal is to reach more provinces in 2022. The recent opening of the Fresmart Express store in Dundo, on the 15th of July, raised to 18 the stores under the Fresmart insignia in the country.
