The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the United States of America, celebrated on Sunday, July 4, praised the efforts made by both countries towards the "continuous strengthening" of their relations.
"Our two countries and governments have made genuine efforts towards the continued strengthening of bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation, and I want to express our conviction that we are on the right path, which will lead us to build solid foundations on which to base important joint achievements, with reciprocal benefits," says the President in the text of the message to which Lusa had access.
In the message on behalf of the Angolan Executive, Lourenço ended the text with "best wishes for personal well-being, good health and prosperity to the people of the United States of America.
In the words addressed to Joseph Biden, the head of state highlighted "the exemplary path taken by the United States of America in these few more than two centuries in which it has achieved great achievements in all areas of American national life," projecting the "nation in the world as an unavoidable reference in political, economic, scientific and technological terms.
