IGAPE "informs that the deadline for submission of applications to participate in the privatisation process of 51 percent of the share capital of ENSA - Seguros de Angola, AS, has been extended until 11.59pm on 6 September 2021," the institute said in a statement published on its website.
The extension, according to IGAPE, "aims to increase the time to prepare the conditions of the requirements and obtain the necessary clarifications for the submission of applications in recognition of the difficulties expressed by some of the entities interested in participating in the tender.
With the extension, the institute envisages an "improvement in the conditions that favor the participation of the greatest number of candidates," guaranteeing an environment of free and healthy competition among the candidates.
In the note, IGAPE recalls that the first phase of ENSA's privatization will be carried out through a Limited Tender by Prior Qualification, which opened on June 10 to national and foreign investors.
