Chamber of Commerce and Industry trains managers on export opportunities and risks

The Angolan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIA) will train Angolan managers with tools and skills to "map opportunities, risks and global business" in export markets, it was announced.

:

The course called "Mapping Export Markets" takes place from 7 to 30 July and will be led by the Portuguese Victor Pinheiro, specialist in international business.

According to a note from CCIA, sent to Lusa, the first course, which should bring together 20 trainees, is part of the organ's training program, which should extend until August with executive courses for businessmen and entrepreneurs in the country.

Challenges and motivations for exporting, specific market studies for the industrial sector and export destination markets and the definition of a desirable market for exporting are some of the topics scheduled for training.

For the Angolan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, internationalization is a "lonely walk in which it is necessary to be prepared" to face the current paradigm where the crisis and changes "translate into opportunities".

Contributing to developing the competitive capacity of companies, participating in the definition of policies, promoting Angola's economic and trade relations with the rest of the world are some of the CCIA's missions.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a public benefit institution that, in addition to promoting economic and commercial activity at home and abroad, also plays the role of employers' union.
