In an official message released by the Press Office of the Presidential Palace, João Lourenço expressed his wishes for "good health, personal well-being and success for the Portuguese nation", highlighting the solidity of the relationship between the two countries.
"The historical relations between Angola and Portugal are today marked by deep, multifaceted and quite comprehensive cooperation, with permanent contacts at all levels and in different areas, which illustrates the robustness of the exchange between our countries", the message reads.
The head of state also highlighted the "great growth potential" of bilateral cooperation, considering that the implementation of diverse initiatives and actions will contribute to the progress, development and well-being of their respective peoples.
