In terms of responsibilities, the National Directorate for Project Structuring and Tourist Planning will be in charge of creation of the planning plans for areas of interest and tourist potential, with prior classification.
According to a statement from the ministry, cited by Angop, this unit should also prepare tourist maps, as well as issue an opinion on municipal, provincial and national territorial planning plans.
It is also responsible for analyzing and issuing technical opinions linked to the implementation of areas of tourist interest and potential, among others.
In turn, the Tourist Support, Training and Entrepreneurship Office will be responsible for coordinating technical and professional training, as well as guaranteeing the quality of technical and professional staff in the hotel and tourism sectors, said the statement, cited by Angop.
In addition, it will also be in charge of developing measures aimed at access to employment and promoting entrepreneurship.
Therefore, the guardianship now has an organizational structure that will make it possible to put the ministry's measures into practice efficiently.
