Costa announces in Luanda Virtual Digital Consulate from the 10th

The Portuguese Prime Minister announced on Monday that the Virtual Consulate of Portugal will go into operation from the 10th, considering that this is a step to bureaucracy and relieve demand with consular services.

António Costa spoke in Luanda at the end of a reception with about a hundred national entrepreneurs present in the Angolan market, in which the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, was also present.

"No one will hurt me to be advertised a few days in advance that, on the 10th [Portugal Day, Camões and the Portuguese Communities] we will have the virtual consulate on each mobile phone, which will allow to start practicing a Set of consular acts digital", he said.

The Portuguese executive leader said that it will be possible "biometric recognition with total safety, also alleviating the pressure on the consular services" of Portugal.
