Publisher Òmnira will launch, on the 23rd of June, the collection 'Kimpwanza' Poesias & Poemas.
The launch will take place at the Centro Cultural Casa de Angola in São Paulo, at 6.30 pm.
The collection includes the participation of writers of various nationalities, including five Angolans (Ângela Maria Correia; António Palembi; Eduardo Tchandja; Ismael Farinha and Wende Bocado).
In addition, the publishing house will also launch the Dicionário de Angolês, by the Brazilian journalist, writer, researcher and cultural activist Roberto Leal. Also noteworthy is the Angolan Literature & Art magazine "Òmnira", whose edition will be special in honor of the 440th birthday of the Angolan queen of the Kingdom of Matamba Njinga a Mbande.
The program also foresees the conference "The Importance of African Literature for the people" with the Angolan writer, poet and cultural activist Ismael Farinha, among others.
