In a statement, to which the Lusa agency had access, it is revealed that, based on the expected award criterion, 15 stores were assigned, of which seven to Híper Mangolê, Lda., five to Pomobel, Lda., and three to Valoeste, Lda, located in the provinces of Luanda, Bengo, Benguela, Kwanza Sul, Malanje, Kwanza Note, Zaire, Huambo and Uíje.

Híper Mangolê is owned by the Angolan business group Sodosa, with presence in several sectors of activity.

Valoeste is a company incorporated under Angolan law, belonging to the "GCC" business group, whose activity is linked to the areas of agriculture, earthworks, accommodation, logistics, catering, industry, among others.

The public tender was launched on October 28, 2021 and, according to IGAPE, "complied with all the necessary administrative procedures, in accordance with the parts of the procedure and the basic law on privatizations".

IGAPE underlines that because they were not put out to tender, another nine Nosso Super stores were left deserted, in the provinces of Cabinda, Bié, Huíla, Zaire, Cuando Cubango, Namibe, Cunene and Luanda, which will be privatized in a new public tender via electronic auction to be launched soon.

The Zahara group managed, as of 2016, the Nosso Super public supermarket chain, which was part of the Program for the Restructuring of the Logistics System and the Distribution of Essential Products to the Population (Presild), launched in 2007 by the Government, with the aim of modernize the commercial network and create new business and employment opportunities.
