The Colossal Imbondeiro de Xangongo – Cunene is located, as the name implies, in Xangongo, municipality of Ombadja, village of Péu-Péu (Cunene).
This is believed to be the largest Baobab tree in Africa, with a trunk measuring about 27 meters and a crown measuring about 22 meters.
In Angola, this type of tree can be found in forests and coastal areas, being common in savannas.
