In a press release, the provincial government of Luanda referred that, in recent times, in the capital, still under sanitary fences, "reprehensible behavior on the public road, especially during funerals in the capital's cemeteries", has been witnessed.

The note emphasizes that the In-person Decree on the Situation of Public Calamity establishes that in funerals of people whose cause of death is covid-19, up to five participants are allowed, without prejudice to other rules defined by the health authorities, and only in the afternoon, in the concrete case at the Benfica Cemetery.

"These legal norms have been visibly violated, aggravated by the practice of trade in alcoholic beverages and other products, on pedestrians, on roadsides, streets and alleys, as well as outside cemeteries, causing clusters that denounce negligent behavior by residents , given the increase in positive cases that reach worrying figures", says the statement.

The provincial government of Luanda appeals to the municipal, communal and district administrations and the police to redouble their efforts so that the population complies with the biosecurity measures against covid-19 and to hold all those who do not comply with them and all who promote the disobedience.

In order to raise awareness and raise awareness in the communities, the highest authority in the capital calls on civil society organizations, namely youth organizations, churches and other socio-professional associations.
