In a statement issued Friday, Endiama highlights the "good progress of the process" on several points of the claim book for what "received with great surprise the announcement of strike" of the Trade Union Committee.
"Upon learning of the allegations of the Trade Union Committee, which report a work stoppage due to issues of wages and working conditions, this Thursday, the Board of Directors makes it known that proceeded with the requested salary adjustment, in which both parties agreed that the process of updating the same was guided in the performance of each employee, by agreeing to be more serious and fair, which has been fulfilled since the year 2018 to date," says the statement.
The president of the union of Endiama workers, Pedro Muxito, told Lusa that are in question are better working conditions and wage increases and noted that the company allegedly "is divided", being privileged the heads of departments, while "the others are not seen or considered.
The Board of Directors guarantees to be fulfilling the promises made to the workers, having already concluded the performance evaluation process agreed between the two parties.
"So far, without finding major reasons for the position of the Trade Union Committee, before the realization of an assembly of workers, time that judges, the Council, suitable for discussion and agreement of situations that create discontent, the direction of the institution shows itself, once again, open to a dialogue with the Trade Union Committee, in order to see all issues clarified," concludes the statement from Endiama.
