Mozambican PR visits ZEE to identify business opportunities

The Mozambican President will visit the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEE) next Friday to identify “investment and business opportunities to develop in Angola”, this entity announced.

:

The visit, the ZEE said in a statement, is part of the official programme for Daniel Chapo's visit, who will be in Angola on 15 and 16 May.

“The visit aims to identify the best investment and business opportunities to develop in Angola, and shows the interest in developing business projects in other strategic sectors, and chose the Special Economic Zone to visit”, states the press release to which Lusa had access.

The ZEE highlights Mozambique's “promising investment environment”, driven by economic growth and abundant natural resources, as well as the country's strategic location, with ports that provide easy access to international markets, “being the first choice for regional importers and exporters”.

The Luanda-Bengo ZEE is a leading industrial space with a total area of 8,300 hectares whose main objective is to attract investment and create development opportunities for national and international companies. It is divided into different areas, intended for different types of industries, such as civil construction, food production and technology.

On the same day, Daniel Chapo attended a dinner in his honor hosted by the Angolan Banking Association.
