"It has been very enthusiastic and awaits the document that the entities will do," said Brazilian Agriculture Minister Carlos Fávaro, referring to Lula da Silva's good reaction.

A mission of Brazilian agribusiness was in Angola from May 5-10, with the participation of about 30 Brazilian businessmen and the Minister of Agriculture, who attended government meetings and technical visits in the provinces of Luanda, Malanje and Cuanza-Norte and meetings with representatives of the Angolan private sector to discuss forms of financing.

According to the Brazilian government, this visit aimed to prepare proposals for advancement in bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector, on the eve of the visit of President João Lourenço to Brazil.

About 70 percent of Brazilian exports to Angola are from the agribusiness sector, highlighting sugar and chicken, cattle and pork, 340 of the $ 493 million exported to the country last year.
