These young people's projects must contribute to the diversification and sustainable transformation of the Angolan economy, in sectors such as agriculture, fisheries, commerce, science and innovation, marketing and communication, among others, and with a positive impact on communities and society.
“We are celebrating 100 years of our company and we want to celebrate by helping young Angolans to create their own companies. We have been in Angola for over 70 years and we are aware of the human potential that exists in the country. Angolans have good ideas! This “100 years, 100 entrepreneurs” program is a way of saying thank you Angola. It is also a way to inspire young people to embark on the great adventure of entrepreneurship. We are entrepreneurs and we can help young people who want to launch. Therefore, I appeal to all Angolans who have a good, concrete and structured business idea to sign up. We will help the 100 best ideas in various ways, depending on their level of maturity”, said Martin Deffontaines, general director and country chair of TotalEnergies Angola.
Officially launched on March 28th, the date of TotalEnergies' 100th anniversary, this project is aimed at all Angolan citizens over the age of 18 or residents of Angola who have a structured business idea. Applications must be made through the '100anos-100empreendedores' portal by July 31st, completing five basic steps.
The final selection will be made by an independent jury until the last quarter of the year, taking into account the innovation of the business, the potential impact and scalability, the positive impact on the market or industry, its impact on the sustainable development and social responsibility of companies. communities, and, finally, the integration of sustainable practices into the business model, ensuring ethical and environmentally friendly operations.
The 100 selected projects will receive various types of support, depending on their level of maturity, namely, market visibility, training, coaching sessions in the areas of communication, finance and leadership, taught by social partners from the academic and entrepreneurship universe, legal support and incubation.
