The president of the FAF, Artur Almeida e Silva, did not confirm the implementation of the League in the next season, considering that there is still a lack of better harmony between the two institutions, and only added that in the 2023/2024 season the FAF will work towards the financial increase on the part of of the consortium (Sonangol, Endiama and Sodiam), Angolan companies that sponsor Girabola.
The president of ANCAF, Alves Simões, said that the clubs had complied with all legal and administrative procedures for the implementation of the Football League in Angola next season.
Alves Simões, who said that the League depends only on the FAF, defended the acceleration of the process and the consequent urgent implementation of the competition, in order to give new dynamics to Angolan football in terms of sponsorship, sporting quality and better use of infrastructure.
