After watching the match between Desportivo da Huíla and Petro de Luanda, in which the home team was defeated by two balls to one, the Portuguese official stated that he is in the province at the invitation of the local government, in order to get to know the structures of the club and establish partnerships in the field of training.

"We know that Angola has an enormous talent potential, that's why we watched this game and noticed a great enthusiasm in the middle of the week", he told Angop.

Referring to SC Braga as a training club in Portugal, "recognized in the country and in Europe", he underlined that the club has been developing infrastructures such as its Sports City, having launched talents not only for its main team, but also for other clubs in the world. António Salvador especially highlighted the case of Vitinha, whom he referred to as the institution's last "big transfer", which sold the striker to Marseille.

"We want to bring our experience and our know-how to Desportivo da Huíla and develop training in the social area, teaching and talent, so that in the future it can export to Portugal and other countries", he also said, in an interview with the same source. .

According to the president of Sporting de Branca, the first step is to recognize the project of the provincial government to develop the sport, followed by support in the creation of infrastructures so that the younger players can demonstrate their talent, having conditions to evolve.

"I was informed by the government of Huíla that these infrastructures (Estádio da Senhora do Monte) will be prepared so that they can develop talent here, not only from Huíla, but from the whole country. I was surprised by the potential presented, which will be good for the future of Huíla. But there is basic work that has to be done, from infrastructure to administrative organization", added the official.

Finally, he referred that the Portuguese club will continue to work to win the sympathy of the Angolans, similarly to what happens with FC Porto and Benfica.

Also this Thursday, António Salvador was received by Nuno Mahapi, governor of Huíla, having then visited the Estádio da Senhora do Monte and the Internship Center of Desportivo da Huíla.

Sporting Clube de Braga is a Portuguese club founded in 1921, in the north of Portugal. In addition to football, a modality in which it has European presences and has already won several national cups, it also combines with other competitive sports such as athletics, swimming, futsal, taekwondo and basketball.
