According to the programmatic grid, activities are foreseen for the next period. Thus, on the 11th and 12th of May, a presentation session of the SER + Project and training for public and private entities is planned, between 08:30 am and 12:30 pm in the amphitheater of the Instituto Superior Politécnico BG 1020-Industrial.
For the 15th of May, guided tours are planned with the zungueiras to various public institutions, while from the 16th to the 31st of May training is planned for the zungueiras, in the amphitheater of the Instituto Superior Politécnico BG 1020-Industrial.
In June, on the 1st and 2nd, there will be awareness raising in four schools in Benguela.
As part of the BAI Foundation's pillar of education, the SER + Project is aimed at informal market vendors and aims to train zungueira women with training courses that address topics such as citizenship, entrepreneurship, conflict management, rights and duties, violence household and food processing. The training program was developed in partnership with local authorities and partners, ensuring an adequate approach to the needs of women in the region.
The project seeks to give women the necessary skills to manage their finances more effectively and improve the living conditions of their families. And, in addition to training in financial literacy, the project also included practical food processing activities, such as preparing food and creating healthy recipes from the products sold by them. These actions are aimed at increasing their income; encourage the reuse of food and the creation of healthier eating habits.
