Angola Cables broadband internet reaches six more African countries

Angola Cables' technological and Internet solutions will be available in six more countries on the African continent. The expansion of the Angolan multinational's business in West Africa was achieved after the conclusion of a partnership agreement with the Ghanaian company CSquared, which also explores the telecommunications market in Togo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya and Liberia.

Through this agreement with Angola Cables, CSquared reinforces as a provider its ability to offer high quality broadband connections to local internet service providers (ISP) and mobile network operators in the main African cities, allowing that they reach Angola and other locations of the Angola Cables network.

This partnership of the Angolan telecommunications multinational is part of the plan to ensure greater proximity to the markets of Angola, Brazil and the USA by providing service providers with a set of technological resources, such as IP Transit, interconnection to Global Data Centers and Cloud and Gaming solutions with efficient connectivity reach to international markets.

"As our newest partner, CSquared will now benefit from and be able to promote its access to high quality Internet and Cloud connectivity solutions in locations within reach of the Angola Cables network. This will strategically place its business in to offer a comprehensive portfolio of widely connected international products and solutions", stated Rui Faria, Global Sales Director at Angola Cables, in a statement sent to VerAngola.

For the Ghanaian company's West Africa Regional Manager, Estelle Akofio-Sowah, the partnership with Angola Cables is in line with CSquared's strategy, which aims to cost-effectively drive the digital transformation in Africa.

"Involvement in a commercial partnership was a logical choice for us, as we have access to Angola Cables' robust and secure international network, with high capacity and low latency, allowing CSquared to market bespoke products and customized network solutions", he assured. Estelle Akofio-Sowah.
