Corn, with 3200 tons, and soy, with 1200, will be the 'stars' of the harvest. The cereals were planted in an area of 1140 hectares.
According to Mateus Sambongo, direct from the project, Gesterra also has a plantation of 320 hectares of beans.
It is recalled that in the first season of this year's campaign, the company had already produced around 1130 hectares of corn and 250 hectares of soybeans, having no estimate of the quantities harvested.
The company also announced the distribution of 40 plots of land, starting in July, with a view to fostering family and youth agriculture.
According to Angop, in addition to making the area available for production, beneficiaries will also receive technical assistance in order to apply better production practices and obtain more income.
