Huawei Angola creates partnership with the Government and will train more than 2500 professionals in the ICT area

Huawei Angola wants to recognize the national talent and has decided to create a partnership with the government. The objective is to train university students and state workers who are connected to new information technologies.

According to Hongzhen Liu, vice president of Huawei Angola, the company plans to train 2,500 professionals in the areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and also certify 300 engineers.

In a statement to the Angolan newspaper Jornal de Angola, he said the training would take place this year and would be aimed at university students taking ICT-related courses and state workers working in that area.

He also said that the multinational technology company wants to work in partnership with 15 universities in the country to facilitate the training process.

Huawei also wants to excel in the media world. According to the same newspaper, the company considers that technology is very present in the daily life of the media and that the integration of state-of-the-art technology in this medium will allow the media to broadcast live news, produce videos, among others, with greater efficiency and speed.

For now, revealed, Huawei Angola is giving online training at the Institute of Telecommunications, the Catholic University of Angola, Cinfotec and ISCP. So far the training has been attended by 100 people, but the company's aim is to increase the number, said the vice-president, admitting that this month the number could reach 240 participants.
