Access to beaches authorized from 15 August

Access to beaches and other bathing areas in Angola, as well as the reopening of naval clubs and marinas, will be allowed from 15 August, according to the new rules that will apply in the state of disaster.

The Government approved the declaration of the state of public calamity, with new rules for the prevention of the new coronavirus, which will start to take effect soon after the third period of state of emergency that ended at 23:59 of this Monday, preparing a "gradual process of return to the normality of social life ".

Recreational, cultural and leisure activities resume operations in three phases: from the 8th of June, museums, theaters, monuments, as well as cultural and art exhibitions and fairs will begin to operate, with the use of a mask being mandatory; libraries and media libraries will reopen on 13 July, while cinemas can start operating again from 31 July.

The rooms will be limited to 50 percent of the capacity, with hand hygiene at the entrance, mandatory use of a face mask by all participants, physical distance of at least two meters between the participants and a distance of two meters between the benches in the case fairs.

Other cultural and artistic activities are subject to specific regulations.
