The Kimbundu and Umbundu languages will, from Monday 25th May, become part of ZAP Viva.
The channel will broadcast an information space called "It's News". The purpose of this space will be to present news in the two languages mentioned above.
The programme will be broadcast from Monday to Friday with two daily broadcasts, one at 12.25pm and another at 7.55pm.
Although Portuguese is the official language of Angola, ZAP Viva recognizes that many Angolans have their own language, and it is estimated that over 3 million people speak Kimbundu and Umbundu.
For this reason, the television station has decided to include these two dialects to make it easier for the population to access news content.
