"TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola informs that the Luanda Lisbon-Luanda connections have been resumed, after the restoration of the energy capacity of Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon, and the normalization of essential services, with the guarantee of operational safety compliance, by the local authorities", says the flag carrier in a statement sent to VerAngola.

The company clarifies that passengers affected by this blackout will be gradually accommodated on their next services.

"Passengers impacted by this disruption will be gradually accommodated on TAAG's next services, and the company's customer service points will maintain regular communication with passengers," the note says.

The airline also thanks "passengers and customers for their understanding in light of this force majeure situation, which affected their travel plans and the company's general flight schedule between Angola and Portugal."

"TAAG's customer support areas are available to provide additional clarifications to passengers", through the following contacts: +244 923 190 000 (Angola) and +351 210 203 896 (Portugal).

It should be noted that TAAG cancelled flights scheduled for this Monday on the Luanda-Lisbon-Luanda route, due to the power outage, which affected Portugal, Spain and other European countries and ended up affecting the operation of the airport in the Portuguese capital.
