Led by Portuguese coach Ricardo Chéu, Petro de Luanda beat Recreativo do Libolo by two goals to zero on Saturday. Playing at home, Megue secured the lead in the 17th minute, with Vanilson sealing the victory in the 53rd.
Also on Saturday, Sagrada Esperança won at home against Carmona FC by 1-0, after a goal by Polaco, in the 47th minute, while Isaac de Benguela beat Académica do Lobito by 3-1, with a goal by Quinho and two by Didi, against one by Kapick.
Bravos do Maquis drew 1-1 at home to Interclube, with the hosts opening the scoring in the 15th minute with Emmanuel, while Betinho, in the 44th minute, restored parity.
Kabuscorp do Palanca, in turn, drew 2-2 against Luanda City. For the hosts, Wilfred scored twice, while Amorzinho and Mona scored for the visitors.
On Sunday, the other strong candidate - Wiliete de Benguela - won at home against Santa Rita de Cássia by 3-0, with goals from Tobias, in the second minute, and Kaporal, in the 12th and 84th. With this result, Wiliete reinforced its second place, with 54 points, one behind the leader Petro de Luanda.
On the same day, Desportivo da Huila, under the command of Portuguese coach Paulo Torres, drew 1-1 against 1.º de Agosto. In a game played in the province of Huila, the hosts opened the scoring, with Mamaduo Sané, while Mabilson restored equality.
