According to a press release, the company posted a net profit of 215.2 million dollars, representing a 53 percent increase over the previous year.
Total operating revenue reached 674.5 million dollars, growing 59 percent compared to 2023.
The 2024 financial results are due, "largely, to the successful integration of Blocks 14/14K and 32, which boosted production from non-operated blocks by 190 percent," the company writes in the note.
Etu Energias' performance is also due to the 15 percent growth in production from operated blocks and the 61 percent increase in export volume, "even in a scenario marked by fluctuations in oil prices."
"Etu Energias thus reaffirms its position as the largest private company in the energy sector in Angola, standing out for its focus on excellence, innovation and contribution to the country's development", he stresses.
The company is the operator of blocks 2/05, CON1, CON2, CON6 and CON8, as well as of the FS/FST Associations, and participates (as a non-operator) in Blocks 3/05, 3/05A, 4/05, 14/14K, 17/06, 14/23 and 32.
