According to the SIC, the suspect was carrying the drug in a concealed form in his stomach and at the bottom of his suitcase, when passengers were disembarking from a TAAG flight – a state-owned airline – from Brazil.
The arrest occurred as part of an operational coordination between the security forces stationed at the airport, according to a note from the SIC, which ensures prevention and ongoing combat against drug trafficking in Angola.
