According to a statement from the National Assembly, to which VerAngola had access, the delegation is also made up of deputy João Bernardo Kanda.
Organized by the Norwegian Multi-Party Parliamentary Group for Sexual and Reproductive Rights and the European Parliamentary Forum for Human Rights, the meeting will feature around 300 participants, including deputies, ministers and experts from the United Nations.
In the working sessions, parliamentarians will debate issues relating to "the protection of democracy and human rights, leadership and youth participation, sexual and reproductive health and human rights of young people and adolescents, as well as holding the plenary on the Adoption of the Declaration of Commitment to Oslo".
Furthermore, the event also aims to promote "dialogue between parliamentarians from all regions on the implementation of the ICPD action program and sustainable development objectives", aiming to achieve "a greater commitment to collective action in the areas of mobilizing resources and creating a favorable political environment for sexual and reproductive health, rights."
