On the 25th of April, there will be a master class on "How to Film Popular Parties".
The event, organized by the BAI Foundation and the Association of Friends of Sarah Maldoror, will take place between 3 pm and 4:30 pm, in the Auditorium Grande of the BAI Academy.
François Piron, curator of Palais de Tokyo (Paris), and the president of the Association of Friends of Sarah Maldoror and Mário de Andrade, Annouchka de Andrade, will be present at the event.
The master class will be preceded by the screening of the film "Carnaval da Guinea-Bissau" (short film by Sarah Maldoror about Carnival in that country).
The event, which is free, will include a presentation by the Angolan historian, Adriano Mixinge, and will include a moment dedicated to the filmmaker's life and work.
