The opening ceremony was presided over by the Municipal Administrator of Talatona, Rui Duarte, with the presence of several local authorities and customers, and the ambassadors Mell Chaves and Sérgio Rodrigues.
The opening of the Centrooptico Patriota store represented an investment of around 250 million kwanzas, having created 12 new jobs. The hired employees received 50 hours of theoretical training and a month of practical training in the store, says Arlete Clemente, Human Resources director at Centrooptico, in a statement sent to VerAngola.
The store has 98 square meters and features an exhibition area for frames, exams and an office, offering services such as optometry, contactology, ophthalmology and audiometry consultations, and diagnostic exams.
"The Centrooptico Patriota store will respond to the needs of a population area that, until now, had to travel to other stores of the brand to have access to visual and auditory health care", says Amyn Habib, group administrator.
"Not only are we getting closer to a greater number of Angolans, through the network of stores that we will continue to expand, but we have also been ensuring a greater diversity of offer. We are able to offer premium brands, from the most important world references, and we have of the largest selection of optical products, with the best value for money", adds Amyn Habib.
The Centrooptico Patriota store is located on Rua Principal do Lar do Patriota, and is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
