"Sociedade Mineira de Chinguvo received the title of mining exploration from the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, during the opening ceremony of the project, in Lunda Norte, this Wednesday", reads a note made available on the guardianship's Facebook.
According to Bruno Pinheiro, director of the project, the mine has a concession area of 2340 square kilometers and employs around 400 workers.
Cited in the note, the official made it known that he intends to "invest more than 15 million dollars" as well as increase the "treatment of 40,000 square meters of ore".
Diamantino Azevedo reiterated that mineral resources are "a blessing", but that if not properly used, they can "become a curse".
He also took the opportunity to make a retrospective of all the activities developed in the provinces and localities of the country, framed in the days of the miner's day.
According to the note, the minister also invited those present: to visit, at the Diamond Development Pole of Saurimo, the cutting factory, considering it "a source of pride for the sector and the country".
Diamantino Azevedo also highlighted "the greater inclusion of young people and support for communities in the projects" and concluded by thanking "all workers in the sector and investors in particular in the Chinguvo project".
Sociedade Mineira de Chinguvo is a commercial partnership between Endiama and the investing company Esa.
