According to the president of CEA, Francisco Viana, the event scheduled for the 4th to the 6th of November aims to "encourage the resumption of business activity", namely "accelerating the development of the productive sector, based on the strategic growth and strengthening of agribusiness business".

Agribusiness, agrologistics, hotels, culture and tourism, economic and business consultation, African Continental Free Trade Area (FTAA), training and transfer of technologies and management methods constitute the axes of the congress, which will take place in Luanda

For the business leader, agribusiness, agrologistics must be seen as "factors to boost national production".

"A country like ours has to take care of food security, we have to produce our products", he justified.

"Agriculture is the first note, the second note is the product of exports such as wood, coffee, marble and another set of materials, but to move all of this the question of logistics is fundamental", he added.

During the three days of the congress, Expo África - African Production Fair should take place simultaneously, "where various products and services produced in Africa will be exhibited", namely agricultural, agricultural, Coffee Stock and others in the industrial sector.

The so-called "Angola 2030 Program" will also be implemented in the course of the congress, with the "Campaign of a Thousand Projects", "Projecto Capacitar para Competir" and "Projecto Alavanca" between the lines of action.

"It is hoped with these initiatives to promote the exchange of experiences and cooperation between the participants, as well as to deepen the dialogue between the representative associations of the private sector and between these the Government of Angola and the diplomatic corps", he stressed.

Several national meetings of different business associations will also be held "as complementary and preparatory activities", within the scope of the II Congress of Production and the Private Sector, estimated at 150 thousand dollars.

The Business Confederation of Angola brings together more than 50 business associations spread across the country.
