The first phase of the construction work was resumed a month ago, and more than 400 apartments are being built, as well as 48 stores.

According to Angop, the physical execution of the project is already 50 percent complete.

The work, in which 150 young people are employed, includes the construction of two and four-story buildings with up to eight apartments.

In addition to the 3,000 apartments, a medical center, recreational areas, a children's center, and schools will also be built at the center. The project will also include drinking water supply and wastewater treatment systems as well as an electricity supply system.

During a two-day visit to Moxico, Crispiniano dos Santos, JMPLA's first national secretary, verified the status of the project, and encouraged the contractor to carry out the work with quality and within the defined deadlines.

The official, cited by Angop, said he believed that the entry of this centrality into operation will help combat housing problems as well as satisfy the ambition of young people to own their own homes.
