"To provide an excellent service and provide a positive experience to its passengers, TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola has been making available, since March 1, 2025, its new Lounge at Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIAAN), a space specially dedicated to passengers on domestic flights", informs the flag carrier, in a statement sent to VerAngola.
This new space was named 'Lounge Njinga' and is "inspired by Queen Njinga, a symbol of strength, strategy and leadership, and is a tribute to the grandeur of Angola".
The lounge has "capacity for 50 people simultaneously" and offers leisure areas, comfort and various amenities, "being the ideal environment to relax before the flight, or simply for users to enjoy a space full of harmony and Angolan culture", says the company.
"The 'Njinga Lounge' is a space where the art, culture and history of Angola come together to create a unique experience and elevate national identity", adds TAAG, highlighting the decoration with the "geometric patterns of the Sona language, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity".
"The 'Njinga Lounge' is available to TAAG passengers in premium classes on domestic routes and other users who can purchase access to the space", the airline also announced.
