PR appoints new representative in CPLP and ambassadors in Cape Verde and Italy

The President of the Republic dismissed the Angolan ambassadors in Cape Verde and Italy, in addition to the permanent representative of Angola to the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), the presidency announced this Friday.

In a press release, the presidential press office said that Júlia Machado, from her post as ambassador to Cape Verde, Maria de Fátima Jardim, from her post as ambassador to Italy, and Oliveira Encoge, from his post as permanent representative of Angola to the CPLP, were dismissed.

As the new permanent representative of the Republic of Angola to the CPLP, the President, João Lourenço, appointed Evaristo da Silva.

In the same decree, the head of state appointed ambassadors to Cape Verde, Italy and Hungary, Agostinho da Silva Neto, Josefa Saco and Margarida Izata, respectively.
