Luanda will host the 2nd edition of DOC Luanda - International Documentary Film Festival.
The event will take place between March 30th and April 6th.
On the 30th of March, the opening session of DOC Luanda will take place, where the festival and all its spaces will be inaugurated: Gallery: Photographic exhibition "Augusta Conchiglia – Nos Trilhos da Frente Leste"; Room 1: Book and DVD Fair; and at the Pepetela Auditorium: National + International Film Competition.
The exhibition and the Book Fair will be open to the public every day of the event between 10 am and 8 pm.
The BAI Academy will also host the festival. Thus, alongside the signing of a memorandum of understanding, the BAI Foundation and CRIACOM will hold the International Documentary Film Festival at the Auditorium of the BAI Academy, with a film screening and DVD exhibition and a book fair, which will be open until 6th of April, and can be visited every day of the festival (31st of March, 5th and 6th of April), from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
In addition, there will also be a round table on the production of documentaries in Angola.
DOCLUANDA is an event organized by Camões – Centro Cultural Português in partnership with MUKIXE Produções Audiovisuais and the company CRIACOM.
