Fresmart's number eight in Luanda is in Kilamba and opens at the weekend

After arriving in Talatona last December, Fresmart is now ready for a new bet in the province of Luanda. Once the capital is consolidated, the provinces follow.

Bruno Carlos:

Fresmart Kilamba is the 8th supermarket of the Newaco Group in the country, and the opening of the most recent store is scheduled for Saturday, March 21st.

The group, founded in 2005, says that the most recent investments are in line with the Executive's request for the diversification of the national economy and the promotion of new jobs.

With more than 1600 square meters, the new supermarket, located on the outskirts of Kilamba's centrality, will generate more than 100 direct jobs.

In a statement sent to VerAngola, Lalani Prayesh, CEO of Grupo Newaco, highlighted the fact that this is the eighth store that the group will open in the province of Luanda.

The official also said that the next investments will be in the province, more specifically in Dundo, Malange and Cabinda.

As was already foreseen when the previous store was inaugurated, he also said that “the group will create a ceiling for the purchase of products from peasants and farmers, thus prioritizing national production”.

It is recalled that Fresmart specializes in the sale of frozen and chilled beef, pork, poultry, other meats, offal, seafood and also vegetables from North America, the European Union, Australia, Asia and New Zealand.
