The meeting, according to a note from CIPRA to which VerAngola had access, took place late Friday morning at the Presidential Palace.
"President João Lourenço's interlocutor was at the Presidential Palace late this morning, in his capacity as Special Envoy of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco", the note reads.
After the meeting, Nasser Bourita did not speak to the press.
In recent years, cooperation relations between the two countries have intensified, covering several sectors, such as politics, trade, economy, among others.
One example is the fact that Morocco, through private companies, has been investing in the country, especially in the banking sector, as well as being a relevant partner for the development of infrastructure in Angola, writes Angop.
The two countries also cooperate in the field of education, with Morocco providing scholarships for Angolan students in several areas, in addition to collaborating in educational and technical initiatives.
These are some of the examples that mark Angola-Morocco relations, as the ties cover other areas such as tourism, defense and security, etc.
