"We gained a well-equipped emergency surgery bank with the conditions to provide national reference services to our pediatric users and also an extension area for more clinical pediatric care", said the minister, quoted by Televisão Pública de Angola (TPA).
The holder of the Health portfolio said that this bank is prepared to carry out minor surgeries, as well as "general pediatric care".
"We have an emergency department here with rooms to perform minor surgeries, in addition to minor surgeries, for general pediatric care, well equipped and with better working conditions and to provide humanized assistance to our patients", she pointed out.
According to the minister, Sonangol was responsible for the financing, with the bank resulting from an investment in the order of 500 thousand dollars: "Sonangol sponsored, an investment of around 500 thousand dollars was made for the building and also for the equipment of this area ", said Silvia Lutucuta, quoted by TPA.
