Thus, the kick-off for the activation of more than two dozen job centers took place in Bengo, where the Minister of Public Administration, Work and Social Security, Teresa Rodrigues Dias, proceeded to reopen the Caxito Job Centre.
Located in the municipality of Dande, in the municipality of Caxito, the center occupies a total area of around 1100 square metres, with its reopening taking place on Wednesday, as part of the expansion, revitalization and modernization program of services and employment centers.
According to a note from the Provincial Government of Bengo, to which VerAngola had access, the said program aims to rehabilitate 22 employment centers in the country, "together with the National Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (INEFOP) to provide greater dynamism in monitoring statistical information regarding the level of unemployment and intermediating companies and job candidates, building a profile of users according to the requirements and needs of the labor market".
The note also mentions that INEFOP also has "the PAPE platforms as a program that aims to encourage and support the spirit of initiative of entrepreneurs, mainly young people and women, to enhance the exercise of professions, through the attribution of professional cards, and give opportunity for guidance and internships to graduates in vocational training centers".
This action was applauded by the Governor of Bengo, Maria Antónia Nelumba, who, according to the communiqué, thanked the "initiative of MAPTSS as the employment center responds to the high unemployment rate experienced in the province".
Budgeted at 51,699,518 kwanzas, the said centre, according to Jornal de Angola, has a market study room, a data processing and reception area.
On the occasion, the minister, quoted by Jornal de Angola, said it was the first updated center to be reopened, of more than 20 conjectured, thus symbolizing progress in the response to the employment problem in that province and in the country.
Cited by Jornal de Angola, the minister also said that "the other centers to be active will also benefit from restoration work to guarantee a better data handling service, relating to employment and unemployment at national level".
On this path, MAPTSS inaugurated this Friday, the centers of Cazenga and Talatona.
"The rehabilitation and equipping of centers with new equipment and IT management systems is a project" by MAPTSS, "in the scope of the Revitalization, Expansion and Modernization Program for Employment Centers and Services – PREMCSE, and New Congnito, a subsidiary of the Grupo Mitrelli, selected as a strategic partner of MAPTSS for the implementation of the project", says a note sent to VerAngola.
