Tender for the privatization of the third wave of industrial units in the ZEE concluded

The Institute for Management of State Assets and Participations (IGAPE) reported this Thursday that the public tender to privatize the third wave of industrial units in the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEE) has been concluded.

"Within the scope of the Privatization Program (PROPRIV) 2019-2022, the Institute for the Management of State Assets and Participations, as the state entity responsible for the execution of the respective program, informs that Public Tender No. 06/21 for the privatization, in the Asset Disposal modality, of the 3rd wave of Industrial Units located in the Luanda – Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEE)", can be read in a note made available on the IGAPE website.

In the statement, IGAPE informs that after completing all the phases foreseen in the procedural documents and based on the expected award criteria, the units were delivered to Betonar, Bombágua, BTMT, Inducabos, Indupame, Induplastic and Ninhoflex.

The Indústria de Pré-Fabricados e Pré-Esforçados de Betão Probetão was handed over to Betonar while the Indústria de Bombas de Água WM – Construções now passes into the hands of Bombágua.

The Indústria de Aparelhagem de Baixa e Média Tensão Milbridge Holding S.A, a Indústria De Cabos Eléctricos Milbridge Holding, S.A e a Indústria de Pavilhões Metálicos Oper Angola Prestação de Serviço, S.A were awarded to BTMT, Inducabos and Indupame, respectively.

Induplastic, on the other hand, was with Indústria de Plásticos ICC Angola and Ninhoflex with Indústria de Colchões Alphamedic, Lda.

IGAPE recalls that the tender was launched on August 23 of last year, having fulfilled "all the necessary administrative procedures and in accordance with the respective Program and the Basic Law for Privatizations".
