Covid-19: Angola registers 60 new cases and 322 recoveries in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, Angola recorded 60 new cases, no deaths and 322 recoveries, according to the epidemiological bulletin of the National Directorate of Public Health, released this Tuesday.

The new cases were reported in the provinces of Cabinda (26), Luanda (24), Zaire (4), Huambo (3), Namibe (2) and Huíla (1), in patients aged between eight months and 62 years, 46 were male and 14 were female.

The bulletin also reveals that, in the last 24 hours, no deaths were reported.

In the same period, there were 322 recoveries, of which 85 in Lunda Norte, 73 in Luanda, 60 in Namibe, 42 in Cabinda, 19 in Huambo, 14 in Huila, 13 in Moxico, seven in Bié, four in Cunene, three in in Cuando Cubango and two in Benguela.

The laboratories processed 1989 samples by RT-PCR with a daily positivity rate of three percent.

With the latest data, the country has a total of 98,226 cases, of which 1031 are active, 1895 have died and 95,300 have recovered.
